1-1 Lessons
1-1 lessons are 30 mins (most grades) and 60 mins (for students in MS and HS).
Lessons are billed at the start of each month via FACTS. Charges will be based on the amount of lessons the student will have the upcoming month.
Students register through this form where we will schedule in order of availability.
Lessons are also open to faculty and staff with the same fee structure and registration.
Ensemble Classes
We offer several ensemble classes (flute, woodwind/brass, guitar, rock/jazz band) that are 50 minutes each.
Lessons are billed at the start of each month via FACTS. Charges will be based on the amount of lessons the student will have the upcoming month.
Our team of passionate and experienced teachers and musicians will mentor and inspire your son/daughter to pursue a love of music and performance. All teachers have advanced degrees, and many are graduates of SF Conservatory of Music or other leading conservatories.
All lessons take place at 150 Oak on Monday through Friday from 3-6pm, following the school's academic calendar. Lower school students are picked up from aftercare by their conservatory teacher and dropped back off after their lesson.
Lesson consistency is important for students to develop their skills and understanding, as is their commitment to that devoted time and sufficient practice time between sessions. Students should not schedule other appointments at the time of their lesson.
Cancellation Policy: 48-hours notice required. Students will be placed on a waitlist for a makeup lesson. If a makeup lesson is not possible, you will receive a credit toward the following month's cost. Please notify your conservatory teacher and email conservatorycoordinator@internationalsf.org. Only one cancellation allowed per month where you can receive a credit/makeup.
If a lesson is cancelled by the teacher, you will receive a credit toward the following month's cost if a makeup lesson is not possible.
Financial aid is available for those eligible for the school's Financial Assistance Program. Please reach out to (Teresa Nguyen || Mireille Gaonach) for more information.
We have a relationship with Union Music (1710 Market St.), who can help with instrument rentals and/or maintenance and music books.
Opportunities
For this program, there will be Conservatory Concerts in Fall, Winter, and Spring. Each student enrolled in the Conservatory Program is encouraged to perform at one of these concerts per year, which will be coordinated with the teacher.
